There isn’t much going on out there in the space as much as there is down here on hearth. The image of life pulsating on heart is visible when we fly a low altitude. We get to see earth breathing, waters moving, its heart pumping, we see millions of night lights of cities filled with people enjoying themselves at cafés, restaurants, strolling the streets and falling in love. It’s a beautiful site and most of us keep a favorite place in the heart.
I keep my native land of Puglia in my heart. Even though my own ambitions took me away from it, I always return to the place I was born and since a few years ago, I return with groups of curious travelers with me to experience the same life I had as a native Italian in this part of the earth.

In each trip we focus on appreciating each day and small things. We caress vegetation and appreciate the nectar that is incapable of lying: WINE!!!

If we are there during the fall, just for fun we harvest grapes, dance and sing while pressing the juice of the earth’s fertility. Centuries old olive trees cover the land of Puglia, we embrace them to feel the heart’s positive vibrations. We usually watch the sunrise from the cliffs of Polignano like ancient Greeks did and admire the sunset over the Ionian Sea of Castellaneta to hear the last breath of the day.

Often we dine like bacchanal at the banquet of the Gorge tasting homemade food, poor of ingredients, rich in flavors and cultivated in the most natural way as it has been done for centuries.

The smell of a furnace burning wood makes everyone excited as the fire’s energy gives food a particular smoky taste and it converts food in togetherness. In this part of the earth each food has its distinctive flavor, an orange tastes like a real orange, a tomato tastes like a real tomato, animals are kept free and are fed good food not with hormones. Well, you get the picture.

These are the earth’s atmospheres my group experiences, simple moments of their passing on this earth they will never forget.
